Shelbyville Head-On Car Accident Kills 1, Injures 2
A 25-year-old man died and a 45-year-old man and 1-year-old child were injured after a two-vehicle head-on car crash in Shelbyville, Tennessee, early Friday.
According to a report by wkrn.com, the accident occurred just after 7:30 a.m. near Highway 130 in Bedford County. A spokesperson with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said that the 25-year-old man was traveling west on Highway 64 when his vehicle went over the yellow line and into the eastbound lane facing oncoming traffic.
Shortly after crossing the center line, his vehicle collided head-on with a Ford pickup truck.
The impact of the accident killed Frasier and also caused the two occupants of the truck—a 45-year-old man from Lewisburg, Tennessee, and a 1-year-old child—to suffer serious injuries.
Police stated that there is no clear indication as to why the 25-year-old man’s vehicle crossed over into oncoming traffic at the time of the accident.
