Nashville Man Facing DUI and Hit-and-Run Charges after Accident in Antioch
A Nashville man was arrested early Wednesday morning after he caused an accident while under the influence of alcohol and then left the scene.
According to a report by WKRN.com, the man ran a red light at the intersection of Murfreesboro and Hamilton Church roads in Antioch, Tennessee. While passing through the intersection, he collided with a white sedan, but left before emergency responders could arrive.
Officers caught up to the man about one mile away from the hit-and-run accident and took him into custody on charges of DUI and leaving the scene of a crash.
