Montgomery County Crash Sends 4 People to the Hospital
A serious crash in Montgomery County, Tennessee, Tuesday afternoon injured four people, including two young children.
According to wkrn.com, the accident occurred around 1 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 79. Police say that a 68-year-old man was driving west in his Ford F150 pickup truck when a car driven by a 27-year-old woman pulled out in front of him.
The collision caused the 68-year-old man to suffer serious injuries and he was transported to Gateway Medical Center for treatment.
The 27-year-old woman and a two-year-old child and a 5-month-old child were all injured and flown to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital via LifeFlight.
Police said there are no updates on the victims’ conditions at this time, and that charges are pending against the woman because she failed to yield before causing the car accident.
