Multiple Injuries Reported after Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 24 West
Two vehicles collided near the Briley Parkway exit and mile marker 54 on Interstate 24 in south Nashville Saturday evening, and when the occupants of one of the vehicles got out to assess the damage, they were struck by another car.
According to a report by WKRN.com, a total of three people who were struck by the vehicle suffered critical injuries and were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, while a fourth victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center.
A report by Metro police indicates that three of the victims were occupants of a vehicle that was involved in the initial accident, while a fourth victim was a witness who stopped to help.
No information has been released about the victims’ names or ages, and the accident is still under investigation at this time.
