Rescue Crews Pull 3 People to Safety after Multi-Vehicle Accident in Lebanon
An accident involving multiple vehicles in Lebanon, Tennessee, Saturday afternoon resulted in emergency crews having to extricate three injured victims from their vehicles.
A report by wsmv.com says that the accident occurred on Highway 109 near Spence Creek when a car traveling northbound was attempting to turn left when it was hit from behind by a pickup truck. The impact of the collision caused the car to be pushed forward into traffic where it ended up in the path oncoming vehicle. Three people were inside the car that was hit from behind and pushed into traffic, and all three had to be pulled from the vehicle by emergency responders.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that the victims suffered injuries as a result of the accident, but none of their injuries appeared to be serious or life-threatening. The THP also stated that there was only one person in each of the other two vehicles that were involved and neither of those drivers suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident.
